Club -
The coordinating group for various
island activities, and the financial center for the community
club building projects and rentals.
Water
Association - Supervises
water acquisition, infrastructure and quality for Samish
Island shareholders. The Water Association
was formed in 1952 as a non-profit corporation.
Arts
Committee - The Arts Committee
is responsible for the Samish Island Arts Festival, the
Summer Concert, and the Holiday Festival.
Samish
Island Marching Band - The
Samish Island Marching Band has three events/performances
a year: the Island July 4th Parade, the Berry Dairy Days
Parade, and the Island Christmas Program.
Garden
Club - The
purpose of the Garden Club is to stimulate the knowledge
of gardening among amateurs, aide in the protection of native
trees, plants, and birds, and to encourage civic planting
on the island.
Samish
Senior Singles -
Senior Singles is open to all single islanders in their
golden years - if you're over 50 and single, you're already
a member, so join us soon.
Book
Groups - Several book
groups meet on Samish Island. Each group meets in people's
homes, so the membership limit is generally 12 persons.
Recreation
- Various
recreational activities for
island residents are available on Samish Island. Send additional
recreational clubs or activities to our webmaster to include
on this list.
