Samish Farms Water Association
PO Box 102, Bow, WA 98232

360-766-7218

The purpose of the Samish Farms Water Association is to supervise water acquisition, infrastructure and quality for Samish Island shareholders. It was formed in 1952 as a non-profit corporation, by a group of farmers and residents who faced a communal need for water on the Samish flats and Samish Island.

The Samish Water Farms serves 483 connections on Samish Island (2006). The Comprehensive Water System Plan (20-year projected growth) plans for a possible 550 residential and 16 non-residential connections, or 600 equivalent residential connections by 2023.

Sue Ratfield is our professional Operations Manager. She is DOH-certified Water Distribution Manager, Level 1, Certified Backflow Assembly Tester and a Cross Connection Control Specialist. Phone her at 766-6984 for information on your system, meter, shut off, and other questions.
