An Island Christmas

The Christmas Program is usually held at the Community of Christ Church in early to mid-December. At 6:30 p.m. the Samish Island Marching (Sitting) Band plays Christmas carols, and the program begins at 7:00 p.m. The program is non-denominational, to be shared by all as an old-fashioned Christmas seasonal event.

The Samish Island Choir (convened just for this event in November) sings beautiful carols and we encourage all of you and your neighbors to join in this beautiful celebration of the holidays.

Island residents can watch their friends and neighbors sing, play, perform, or present poems relating to the holiday season. The emcee usually makes the season fun and a beacon of light during the holiday season.

Brass quartet performs carols and seasonal works:
Peter Davis, Chuck Davis, Steve Hopley, and Dave Reff

Watch the November Shore Lines for information about choir practices, volunteer needs and times of the program each year. Join us for the fun and pleasure of the season.
